In addition, a strict hygiene concept has been developed for all areas.

Hygiene concept


  • General preventive measures include
    • regular and thorough hand hygiene
    • observance of the specified minimum distance of 1.5 meters
    • avoiding touching eyes, nose and mouth
    • good respiratory hygiene (e.g., when sneezing, completely cover the mouth with a bent elbow or a handkerchief)
  • These preventive measures apply equally to guests and employees.


  • Disinfection dispensers (for both employees and guests) will be available at the front desk.
  • The reception and entrance areas are regularly aired.
  • Plexiglass walls are located at the front desk and concierge desk respectively to protect guests and employees.
  • Door handles, counter surfaces, computer keyboards, telephones, CC equipment and writing utensils are disinfected regularly, at least once an hour.
  • Pens used to fill out registration forms are disinfected after use.
  • In order to avoid payment with cash as far as possible, the guest is informed about contactless payment or the possibility of sending a bill.
  • Room keys and cards are disinfected when issued and accepted.


  • Guests and employees are informed by notice board that max. 2 persons use the elevators at the same time.
  • The frequently used contact surfaces (panel in the elevator and buttons on the respective floors) are regularly disinfected.


  • Each employee will always clean the same rooms whenever possible. Employees will wear mouth-nose masks as well as disposable gloves. Employees will disinfect their hands after each room cleaning.
  • Door handles and handrails on stairs in public areas will be disinfected at least 6 times daily.
  • All surfaces are cleaned with the addition of disinfecting detergents.
  • Windows are opened during room cleaning to allow for proper ventilation.


  • Sufficient hand sanitizer, soap and disposable towels will be provided.
  • All surfaces are cleaned with the addition of disinfecting detergents. The cleaning done (6 times a day) will be documented on posted lists.


  • Restaurant and winter garden are regularly ventilated sufficiently.
  • Guests are seated according to the observance of the minimum distance. All rooms are used for this purpose (restaurant ground floor, gallery, winter garden).
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers are placed on each table as well as in the entrance area of the restaurant.
  • All employees wear nose-to-mouth masks.
  • After each change of guests, the respective table is disinfected.
  • All surfaces are cleaned with the addition of disinfecting detergents.


  • Customers are encouraged to disinfect their hands before entering the sales area. An appropriate disinfection dispenser is located in the entrance area.
  • The wearing of a mouth and nose covering is obligatory for employees and customers.
  • Only 2 customers are admitted to the sales area at a time and, if possible, a distance of 1.50 m is maintained.
  • The EC device is disinfected after each touch by customers.
  • The entrance door is also disinfected regularly.
  • The rooms are ventilated regularly.
